HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2001

AN ACT TO AMEND THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ACT, 2000. [16th July, 2001]

		BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:
[GA]	Amendment of section 5 of Human Rights Commission Act, 2000.	1. — Section 5 of the Human Rights Commission Act, 2000 is hereby amended by—
[GA]		(a) in subsection (1), the substitution of “14” for “eight”, and
[GA]		(b) in subsection (2), the substitution of “7” for “4” in each place where it occurs.
[GA]	Short title and collective citation.	2. —(1) This Act may be cited as the Human Rights Commission (Amendment) Act, 2001.
[GA]		(2) The Human Rights Commission Act, 2000 and this Act may be cited together as the Human Rights Commission Acts, 2000 and 2001.
